Torani inhabit the surface layer of tropical and subtropical waters of the Pacific, Indian, Atlantic and surrounding seas. The purpose of this study is to find out morphometrics and meristik balang-balang fish in North Lombok and find out the fishing methods used to catch environmentally friendly balang-balang fish. Sampling was carried out in the waters of Anyar North Lombok Regency. The research was conducted in the basic and wet laboratory of the Faculty of Fisheries. The method used is the survey method (dependent and descriptive). The sample fish identified were 39 tails with 20 males and 19 females, male fish having a total length of 19.0 cm-25.6 cm and weighing 50 grams-110 grams while females had a length of 20.5 cm-23.40 cm with a body weight of 70 grams-150 grams. Data analyzed using a single regression method. With the results of the analysis of length weights as follows Ln W = -3.168 + 2.479 Ln L with an allometric hippo growth pattern with a value of b = 2.479 which means that the length increase is more dominant than the weight. The average condition of balang-balang fish is 0.87, so it can be concluded that the shape of the fish is rather flat and not fleshy, unbalanced sex ratio, and mature gonads in TKG IV, fecundity of 990 items -1.880 grains / head. The conclusion of this study is that balil-balang cheilopogon katoptron fish have a body that is not ideal and is caught not in the spawning season because the sex ratio is still dominated by male fish. This fish is suspected of experiencing population decline due to intensive exploitation. Anticipating population decline that occurs requires a control step that requires information about the individual who is currently in the environment. The purpose of this research is to determine the status of prospective broodstock Rabbitfish fish that are suitable for cultivation. Sampling is done in the Seriwe Bay coastal waters. The research was conducted in the basic and wet laboratory of the fisheries faculty. The method used is the survey method (dependent and descriptive). Examples of fish identified were 50 with 20 males and 30 females, male fish having a total length of 19 cm-29 cm with a weight of 100 grams-300 grams while females had a length of 19 cm-26.20 cm with body weight of 100 gram-310 gram. Data analyzed using a single regression method. With the results of the analysis of the length of weight Ln W = -2.41 + 2.41 Ln L with a hypo allometric growth pattern with a value of b = 2.41, which means that the length increase is more dominant than the weight. Factor condition 1:40 the shape of the fish is less flat and fleshy, unbalanced sex ratio, and mature gonads at TKG IV, fecundity of 110,120 items - 232,400 items. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui morfologi dan biologi reproduksi (pola pertumbuhan, faktor kondisi, IKG, TKG, dan fekunditas). Lokasi penelitian di perairan Teluk Ekas, Lombok Timur. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode survey diskriptif, data primer yang digunakan dari hasil pengukuran panjang, berat tubuh, berat gonad dan jumlah telur dan data skunder hasil tangkapan nelayan. Hasil penelitian pola LWR menunjukan ln W=-4,387+3,045 ln L dan pola pertumbuhan b=3,045, alometrik positif laju pertumbuhan lebih cepat dari pada laju pertumbuhan panjang, faktor kondisi K= 1,48 menunjukan ikan agak pipih dan sudah berdaging. TKG–IV=23% dari populasi penelitian. Achmad Tan Tilar WSK2 lppm@upatma.ac.id <p>Pepudah fish (<em>Rasbora lateristriata</em>) is one type of fish species found on the penyonggak river that flows from the spring located in Tete Batu. Cultivation alternative inexpensive is needed to improve the economy society. However, to conduct the cultivation business required basic data on the characteristics of morphology, ecology and reproduction. This research aims to explain and consider the characteristics of morphology, ecology and reproduction of pepudah fish that live in penyonggak river. Sampling was conducted at 3 stations which are upstream, middle and downstream of penyonggak river. Sampling was done three times of different time span. Research was conducted in May - June 2017. Measurement of morphometric pepudah fish as many 29 characters. Results were tested by statistic method, that is regression analysis method using Microsoft Excel <em>software</em>. Research result shows of Total Length (TL) range between 45-90 mm and weight between 0,96-7,51 g. The largest ratio of standard length to total length of pepudah fish is found at downstream station with 81,44%. Value of correlation and determination of each character to TL mostly show the value &gt;80% which means have very close relationship and very strong effect. Growth pattern of long with the weight of the nearly balanced is in the middle station with the value b=2,98. Analysis of the overall condition factor shows range of 0,80 to 1,37 and average of gonad maturity stage is at GMS III.
